| Cool NC Auto Racing Hall Of Fame Gallery Added To CloseFinishes.com Photo Area 03-19-2007 | Charlotte, NC
After ranting about rules infractions, sub-par television ratings, and bad tires throughout the first part of the NASCAR season, we thought it would be fun to take a trip down memory lane and That said, we made a visit to the North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame in Mooresville, NC last week. The facility, located just off I-77 at exit 36, provided a couple hours or reminiscing among its 35 cars, dozens of displays, and countless artifacts. Two cars particularly caught or eye – a Richard Petty Chevy Monte Carlo (that’s right, the King wheeled a Chevy for awhile) and a Curtis Turner 1950s vintage Ford NASCAR stocker. Both cars, along with a number of other shots of the NC Hall of Fame, are included in a 29-image gallery posted today in the Close Finishes Photo Gallery. As always, thanks for taking a look. Expect the rants to be back next week after the first-ever Car of Tomorrow race at Bristol. Here’s the link – http://www.closefinishes.com/photog/thumbnails.php?album=33
